Jon, a second generation Charlottean, moved back to the area in 2014, after a successful corporate career in information technology. Even though multiple transfers and relocations provided the opportunity to live in several states, Charlotte, NC has always been home.
Jon’s interest in real estate began in his information technology career as a project manager responsible for planning and executing the relocation of information technology service centers and data centers throughout the United States.
In 2014 he undertook the renovation of his childhood home, where he now lives and also began working with Bunny Turner who now an Engel & Völkers Sales Advisor. He followed Bunny to Engel & Völkers South Charlotte shortly after she joined the firm.
The collegial and professional culture of Engels and Volkers South Charlotte, combined with the sophisticated, customer-centric IT platforms heavily influenced Jon’s decision to join Engels and Volkers.
Jon is thrilled to be back in Charlotte. He enjoys sharing the history of the area, his enthusiasm for the city and all it has to offer with prospective buyers and sellers. Being a Sales Advisor for Engels and Volkers makes him an active participant in the growth of his hometown. Realizing that each home buying or selling experience is unique, Jon thrives on working with people to find the perfect home or to market their current home to achieve the best possible return.
Enjoying a life long passion for the game of golf, Jon spends his leisure time on the golf course. His goal is to play as many different courses as he can during the course of a year.
Jon also finds time to volunteer with USO of North Carolina, tending to the needs of military members and their families transiting through Charlotte Douglas International Airport. As a former Marine, Jon has a sense of camaraderie with those in uniform and likes to take the time to personally thank them for their service.
