I am Irma Delph, Real Estate Advisor with Engel & Völkers South Charlotte, and I love helping people make their dreams of homeownership come true!
I moved to Charlotte in 2011 from Southern California and, three years later, married one of the few native Charlotteans I have met. Being brought up around so many caring, loving women inspired me to pursue my own career in healthcare. As such, I have worked in hospitals and clinics as a certified pharmacy tech in California. Upon relocating to North Carolina, I worked for Carolinas Healthcare System and Novant Health in their respective pharmacies; I also volunteer every year with my two favorite organizations, Isabella Santos Foundation and HopeBuilders for Levine Cancer Center.
I decided to work in real estate because I come from a long line of women who worked in the caring professions and it’s that care and compassion for others that makes me love what I do. I love working in a field where no two days are ever the same and I get to play a major role in guiding my clients through one of life’s major events: buying or selling a home.
Here's a little about me: I am a bit of a nerd and just slightly more obsessed than average with the fantastic works of J.K. Rowling; if you were to ask me how much I love Harry Potter on a scale of 1 to 10, my answer will always be 9 ¾. But it's not just the wizarding world that I love, I'm also a huge fan of Game of Thrones and pretty much anything in the sci-fi or horror genre. When I am not binge-watching Netflix or having brunch at Tupelo Honey, you will probably find me at Sara’s YMCA in Ballantyne or out walking my dog, Alfie, around the Regent Park neighborhood.
So, whether you are new to Charlotte like I was a few years ago, or if you have been here for most of your life, I can promise you an amazing, and entertaining, experience if you allow me to be your guide along the journey of home ownership.
